It's been 2 years since Tim died. It seems like such a long time ago, and yet such a short time ago.

This is one of my favorite photos of Tim. Although he learned to be an extrovert performing on stage, Tim was never comfortable having his photo taken. It was a real challenge for him to smile naturally. One reason I love this photo is that Tim was relaxed enough to smile for me. We were on one of our favorite backpacking trips in Ten Lakes Basin in the Sierra. I sure miss those times.
